Leaping Cat

Beware the Watch Cat!

Isn't it amazing how much hype is being made about the World Wide Web. Every doofus and his brother has a web page (no, my brother doesn't have one yet). There is seldom much content on these pages but they sure are fun, now aren't they.

John T. Robbs in a tuxedo.  I am 35 years old and a senior systems analyst for  Sungard Collegis in Maitland, FL. I took some shots when I was working at Valencia Community College and some more from our Technical Services Division meeting.
I was married in 2001 to Patricia Lee Seykora a long-time friend and soul-mate. My parents live in Ocala (about 60 miles away) and most of the rest of my family live in south-eastern Alabama. I have one brother, Richard Rodriguez, who was a Psychology major at Stetson. He is now an English teacher in Korea. I got my Stetson BS in Computer Science in 1990.

I have many good friends at Stetson and I was proud to have the opportunity to work with them.
Dr. Judson Stryker is an Accounting professor and was the Vice-president for Business & Finance for several years.
His son Jay Stryker and I have been friends since he moved into Carson Hall in 1987.
Jay is a Masters graduate of Georgia Tech in Atlanta, and taught Mathematics at West Georgia State University. He is now back in DeLand, teaching and tutoring and writing software.
Dr. Michael Branton is in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and an exceptional teacher.
His wife, Deborah, taught Computer Science when I was a student and I credit her for most of my programming skill, today.
Joanna Bedford is the senior member of the Center for Information Technology application development team and she raises golden retievers at her home, near Greenville, SC
Mary McBride has her degree from Stetson's Art program.

I have lots of pictures of my two cats.

I like Big Cats, too.

Star Trek - The Role Playing Game I periodically run a Star Trek Role Playing Game using FASA's Trader Captains & Merchant Princes supplement. It is IMHO one of the best role playing games out there. If anyone knows of anyplace I can still buy any of the supplemental books to this game, especially to the Starship Tactical Combat Simulator, please drop me a line. It's a shame that FASA lost their rights to the Star Trek name. Task Force bought the rights for a new role playing game from Paramount but I'm not impressed with what I've seen so far. Actually, what I'd really been waiting for was a Babylon 5 RPG. Well, it's finally here. I picked up The Babylon Project, and it really looks good. I hope to be able to put together a campaign soon. More on this later...
